8 Second Camaro Goes 194 mph In The 1/2 Mile: Shift S3ctor Coverage Inside.

Ever wondered what an 8-second 4th Gen. Camaro would run at a 1/2-mile land-speed event? Well, wonder no more, because Sean Cagle piloted his 1400hp Camaro to 199 mph last year and 194 mph this year at the recent Shift S3ctor half-mile racing event in Coalinga, Ca. This 194 mph pass was good for the second spot, just shy of the winning run by the Addiction Motorsports-built twin turbo Ford GT that ran 197 mph.

You gotta love the unbelievable capabilities of the LS motors and the F-Body chassis!
