AWE Releases Valved Exhaust System for the C8 Corvette Z06

The C8 Corvette Z06 is a spectacular car straight from Bowling Green. The performance is incredible but what might be even better is the intoxicating sound coming from the flat-plane crank LT6 engine. It is a Corvette that sounds unlike any Corvette before it. It sounds like a car that should wear a prancing horse emblem. And as good as it is, there is always room for improvement, right? Exhaust Details
The AWE SwitchPath valved exhaust system provides performance gains of plus 11 horsepower and plus 14 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. The system weighs in at 42.5 pounds compared to the 57.5 pounds of the stock system. The aggressive exhaust note comes from the x-pipe design. Integrated heat shields bolt onto the bumper using factory locations. The mufflers are constructed with AWE’s special packing material to ensure tone doesn’t degrade over time. It is constructed from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-made .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel. 4.5-inch double-walled slash cut tips in diamond black come standard.
