Caravaggio Corvettes Unica Series 1

The Caravaggio Corvettes Unica Series 1 is a pricey but bespoke version of the C8 Z06 or Stingray that rivals European coach built rides.

Caravaggio Corvettes has been around for some time now – since 1986, in fact – and over that time span, the company has focused on one specific thing – creating custom late model Corvettes and Corvette parts. While there are a lot of outfits out there doing precisely that as well, Caravaggio focuses more on making bespoke modifications that are highly detailed, transforming the everyman’s sports car into something more special, more unique, and of course, much more expensive. The latest product in this endeavor was just revealed, too – the Caravaggio Corvettes Unica Series 1, which is a limited-edition version of the C8 Corvette Stingray and Z06.

The Caravaggio Corvettes Unica Series 1 is limited to just 30 hand-built units, and each member of that small group will be wholly unique, built to their new owners’ preference. No two of these cars will be alike for that very reason, as customers will go through a private consultation process and choose things like colors, interior upgrades, performance mods, and pretty much everything else, much in the vein of Europe’s finest custom coach builders.

Regardless, the Unica Series 1 utilizes a carbon fiber body to shed 40 pounds of heft and add some unique style, and five lucky customers can even choose to go with an exposed carbon fiber body for extra dramatic effect. From there, they can choose any color they can possibly dream of, coupling it with things like custom stripes and other adornments. The same goes for the interior, where the Caravaggio utilizes handcrafted leather, steering thumb grips, matte carbon accents, Alcantara-covered bits, and unique colored stitching to upgrade the stock cabin.

Production of the Caravaggio Corvettes Unica Series 1 is already underway, and two have already been completed, showing that there’s some initial excitement and demand surrounding this bespoke version of the popular supercar. For those that love the Corvette yet want something a bit more exclusive, it certainly fits the bill – however, with a starting MSRP of $135,000 on top of the cost of the donor car (which can be a Stingray or Z06), one will certainly be paying for that privilege as well.
