*Raises hand* I admit it. I’m a nerd.

I’m eager to prattle off 0-60 times like they were important event dates in human history, and re-state little known factoids about production cars that ultimately might bore the rest of my friends to sleep. But hopefully, some of you might be like me.

So imagine my enthusiasm as I stumbled upon the little list by Car and Driver – “The 10 Awesome Things You Need To Know About the C7 Corvette”. Make sure to go to their website and give it a full read.

  1. The C7 marks the first use of a “shape memory alloy wire” in a production vehicle
  2. The C7 is just the second-ever production Corvette with a rear weight bias
  3. The C7’s eLSD (electronic limited-slip differential) goes from open to full lock in tenths of a second
