Chevrolet Offers 12% Discount on 2019 Camaro SS
New discount available only for the Camaro SS coupe but buyers must take delivery by Dec. 2 to take advantage of promotion.
Black Friday is just around the corner. Soon, the masses will gather from their Thanksgiving dinners to the big-box stores in the cold, dark night, waiting hours for the doors to open. Then, the hordes will charge forth in mortal combat for the insane deals awaiting them, all to guarantee their Christmases will be the best one of all time.
Thankfully, car dealerships don’t have to worry about such things around this time of year. Instead, they’re dropping cash on the hoods of specific models just to attract customers to come through. Chevrolet has plenty of discounts on hand for November for its Black Friday extravaganza, including a 12-percent discount on the Camaro SS.
Like with most discounts, there are some caveats with this rather really good one on the Camaro SS. First, it’s only for the coupe (sorry, sunchasers looking for a high-performance Camaro convertible). Second, you have to buy the car; no leases or special financing allowed. Third, it applies to the 2019 model year. Finally, you have to take delivery of your new ride by December 2 for the discount to apply.
The 12-percent discount is based upon the Camaro SS’ MSRP, which starts at $37,995 for the 1SS trim, per Motor1. The discount takes $4,559.40, dropping the price to $33,435.40, which is then bumped back up to $34,430.60 with the $995 destination charge.
Chevrolet’s own example breaks down the discount on a well-appointed Camaro SS a bit further. In this case, a $44,290 MSRP falls to $38,976 with $3,986 purchase cash, and $1,328 price reduction. The total discount there is $5,314.
Alongside the 12-percent discount, there is a finance offer of $750 cash and zero percent APR for 60 months on the Camaro SS. That offer is available for those who qualify for financing from GM Financial.
The best part of all of this, though, is that it’s not limited to any specific customer. Back in October, Chevrolet offered $3,000 off the hood on any 2019 Camaro for Mustang owners, itself an extension (and expansion) of the $2,500 incentive first offered in August, and again in September.
According to GM Authority, the 12-percent discount is also the second-biggest discount this year on the Camaro. In May, a 15-percent discount was offered from March through April on 2018 models.
