Take a minute to watch this fine inner-family GM street fight between a doctored Cadillac CTS-V coupe and a what looks to be a mega-tuned fourth gen Chevy Malibu. There is no question the supercharged V8 in the CTS-V produces supercar power though the Chevy Malibu puts up a fight for the ages and wins in this single race showdown. Let’s take a look over what happens in this one of one race to see how the winner takes the checkered flag.

From the video and the description the Cadillac is owned by YouTube user ILWALKU. Check out this other video I found of his CTS-V jetting a 10 second quarter mile car, it must have a bunch performance parts. The drag tires definitely resemble its power delivery. In the video as the Caddy approached the drag strip the driver’s car control is on-point. He makes a perfect tire heating burnout which proves to me that he is an experienced driver.

BigKleib43’s title alludes to us that the Chevy Malibu is a fully-built racecar and from watching the video and see the big supercharger sticking out of the hood, it must be. I really have no clue which V8 he has but it must be whirling out at least 800 to 900 horsepower to be able to pull away from the Cadillac as it does. I am in true awe of this Chevy Malibu custom street racecar. From the looks of it the chassis and suspension has been worked on just as much as the motor. The Malibu plants that power hard with little wheel slip and keeps whipping down the roadway.

This is an example that you can’t just buy wins. It takes finesse of driving and hard labor of planning and building. Team Malibu came out with the win and gains more spirit beating a CTS-V. Have you seen a revealing drag video like this lately? Post it to our forums. We would definitely like to see what the community is doing and how we can go faster.
