Cowboy Up! Holley LS Fest Texas Heads to Texas Motor Speedway June 17 – 18
First LS Fest Texas is almost here. It will feature all the typical LS Fest excitement but with a Texan flair.
The Holley LS Fest began back in 2010 and it has proved so popular that a third venue has been added for 2022. Did you miss LS Fest West and can’t wait until LS Fest East? Well, LS Fest Texas is for you. It will be held at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas on June 17 – 18. Those of you from Texas know that it can be a bit on the warm side in the middle of June. So, LS Fest Texas is going to change things up a bit and start the events later in the day and run until midnight. It will not only avoid some of the Texas sun but also bring a fun nighttime vibe to the festivities.
“The LS engine is no stranger to the great state of Texas”, stated Blane Burnett, Holley’s Events Manager. “With numerous high-profile engine builders, performance shops and LS enthusiasts located throughout the area, we’ve felt that Texas needed an LS Fest of its own for quite some time. We’re thrilled to see that happen this year and can’t wait to see the variety of LS-powered machines and their owners that come out ready to get down at Texas Motor Speedway!” Everything is bigger in Texas so we can’t wait to see what the first LS Fest Texas will be like.
Invitees
Who is welcome to LS Fest Texas? The same folks that come out to support LS Fest East and West. If you have an LS or LT powered ride you are welcome to compete. If you are just a fan of those powerplants that is fine too, because there will be plenty for you to see and do. And it is a family friendly event so feel free to bring the little ones. Speaking of free, children 16 years old and younger get in at no charge. And you want to teach your children the beauty of the LS engine while they are still young right? This is the perfect place to do it.
The Action
It would be shorter to list all the LS-related events you WON’T see. LS Fest Texas will have a car show, drag racing, drifting, autocross, dyno pulls, burnout contests, a 3S challenge, and a track x competition. You will have the opportunity to see your favorite LS-powered ride compete in just about every automotive related event you can imagine. Does all the news of all-electric vehicles get you down?
