How About a Customized $100,000 Chevy Caprice Classic? Say What!

The Chevy Caprice Classic. By far the ugliest, most sluggish, and underperforming Police Interceptor there’s ever been. Oh, and did I mention it’s butt-ugly? So why did someone pay over $100,000 bucks to recreate the ultimate law enforcement Caprice?

Well, it’s not just any Caprice Classic, it’s an ICON Caprice Classic. In case ICON doesn’t ring a bell, they’re the company behind some of the most capable and rugged SUVs and Jeeps in the world, all of which cost anywhere from $150,000 bucks to over a quarter million bucks. But you’re probably wondering, what does that have to do with the Chevy Caprice?

Like most of these outfitting companies, ICON takes special orders, and with the right-sized cash stash, your wildest dreams can come true. So if your dream is an early nineties, blacked out, decked out, supped up and maxed out Caprice, they can make it happen for you. In fact, they already made it happen for someone, who’s from overseas, hates flying, and needs to drive a lot when in the States.

Most of the Caprice’s plastic parts have been replaced with aluminum, fine leathers and other lighter and stronger materials, including the wheels, interior, and other exterior bits. Heck, even the engine has been swapped for a 6.2-liter LS3 E-ROD, which although not disclosed, it probably puts out anywhere from 400 to 500 horsepower. Not only will the owner of this monstrosity be able to make people move out of his way on the highway, he’ll be able to get whoever he is going in a hurry and in-style.

Can you think of a better way too spend over a hundred grand? I can.
