When the new Stingray goes on sale at the end of the summer, you will only see it in 900 of the 3,000+ Chevy dealerships. Why? Because instead of basing allocation on orders placed, Chevy has decided to only send new Stingrays to dealers who sold at least four C6s last year. Chevy is betting that demand will outstrip supply and is sending the first Vettes to the dealers already proven to move them fast. This makes sense, though it has apparently angered some dealers.
