LS Fest Texas Kicks off Holley’s Latest Installment With a Massive Bang

2022 LS Fest Texas

The inaugural LS Fest Texas put on the same sort of action-packed show that we’ve come to expect from Holley.

Holley’s LS Fest has become an incredibly popular event over the years, routinely assembling some of the finest LS-powered vehicles on the planet in one convenient place. As such, it was only a matter of time before the event continued to expand, and that’s precisely what happened this year with the 2022 LS Fest Texas, held at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. As is the case with other installments, LS Fest Texas certainly brought the heat in more ways than one, with blazing temperatures and non-stop action on and around the track, as we here at LS1Tech discovered as we were in attendance.

What we saw in our time at Texas Motor Speedway is exactly what we’ve come to expect from every LS Fest installment – loads of cool, modified vehicles, drifting, drag racing, burn out contests, a show-n-shine, autocross, dyno throw downs, and much, much more. In fact, the action is so red-hot and non-stop that it’s hard to soak it all in in one weekend, but that’s precisely what we set out to do.

We came across a little bit of everything on our journey around the LS Fest, from lifted trucks to slammed classics, though all of those rides share one common feature – LS (or LT) power. When you get tired of checking out the show cars, you can head over to the track and enjoy eighth-mile drag racing, autocross, drifting, a burnout contest, dyno challenge, and all kinds of crazy sights and sounds. Personally, we can’t think of a more action-packed way to spend two days and roughly 24 hours.

LS Fest Texas may be new, but it certainly has the chops to stick around, particularly as it attracted massive crowds at its debut. Since LS Fest debuted back in 2010 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky (Holley’s hometown), it has only exploded in popularity, leading to a Las Vegas stint that began back in 2017 and now, the Texas edition. As such, we don’t think that Holley is done expanding its presence across the U.S. – in fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it continue to grow for the foreseeable future.
