The big and badass celebration of GM’s small-block comes blazing back this weekend packed with LS action, April 23-25.

If there is one event that demonstrates why the GM small-block has earned such a devout following, it is LS Fest. But the annual event was cancelled last year due to Covid-19. It was touch and go for awhile if they would be able to return in 2021; but thankfully it is back, and it is going down this weekend. Holley LS Fest West will be taking place on April 23-25 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With a weekend of hardcore LS fun; it is official, nature is healing itself.

Organizers of LS Fest worked with local officials to ensure a safe environment. To that end, safety protocols will be in place including limited attendance, social distancing, and masks required.

Every year, LS Fest (both East and West) organizes a wild and varied event that focuses on the GM LS and modern LT engine. It is a showcase and a smorgasbord with everything LS/LT powered. Vehicles range from race cars, muscle cars, trucks, sports cars, drift cars, pre-runners, and some of the most brilliant and twisted LS swaps.

From track to off-road, there are a lot of different events to appeal to almost everyone. There will be drag racing, autocross, 3S Challenge, Show-N-Shine, Sac Speed Shop Donut Pit, Dyno Challenge, Road Course Challenge, off-road Dirt Destruction and more.

This weekend’s events will include a lot of tire-shredding, smoking action performed by some of the coolest Chevys we’ve ever seen. Not only is LS Fest a great place to get ideas on your ride, it is a chance to see the small-block perform and crank out the power.

If you like your motorsports a little dirtier, the off-road events heat it up in the desert. And you’ve got to love all the jumps.

If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Few auto events can hold a candle to the non-stop, small-block domination of LS Fest West. This is sure to whet your appetite.
