LS-Swapped Lamborghini Huracan Off-Roader

World’s first LS-swapped Lamborghini off-roader is finally finished and makes its first fast food run.

The term “LS swap the world” has been used quite frequently in recent years, and it’s been backed up with some pretty wild combinations. But few can compare to the LS-swapped Lamborghini Huracan off-roader – dubbed “Jumpacan.”

This week’s Track Time Tuesday presented by Nitto Tire shows the Lambo currently under construction by Chris Steinbacher on his rather popular YouTube Channel, B is for Build. It’s been around seven months since Steinbacher first introduced his idea for a more rugged LS-swapped Lamborghini to the world, but now, the car has taken its first test drive. And it’s just as insane a sight as one might think.

This isn’t just a Lambo with an LS swap and big tires, either. The Jumpacan has been treated to a long-travel suspension, roll cage, and enough custom bits and pieces that it’s really not a Lamborghini anymore. It’s really more of a trophy truck with the body of an Italian exotic, but that will likely pay off once this thing gets dirty for the first time.

After a quick spin through the parking lot, Steinbacher decides that the car is ready for public roads, so he goes on a burger run, even though it doesn’t have some important features like headlights and taillights. Unfortunately, that’s when he also runs into a bit of a problem. “As the coolant lines got hot, we sprung one,” he says. “We didn’t think we’d need hose clamps on there. We learned our lesson.”

Regardless, Steinbacher is able to make it back to the shop, and the Jumpacan looks and sounds amazing in the process. Unsurprisingly, this insane machine also attracted the attention of the law, though they didn’t bother to pull it over for a closer inspection. “I drove around the corner and two cops rubbernecked and then they just let us go,” Steinbacher said. “They did not even jump in their cars or do anything, so that was pretty cool.”

Now, the race is on to finish this wild Huracan and take it out for some proper off-roading, where it’s bound to be the coolest looking and sounding thing at whatever trail Steinbacher chooses to test it out on.
