Conquest TSi

Crazy 515-horsepower machine is the baddest, fastest Chrysler Conquest TSi on the planet.

The younger folks out there may not even know what the heck a Chrysler Conquest TSi is. But if you are of a certain age or just a fan of RAD era cars, then you know exactly what this is. Except, you don’t, because this is no ordinary Conquest TSi. This one here, is powered by an LS3 from a 2010 Corvette. It produces more than 500 horsepower and eats tires like they were Tic Tacs. The car is owned and built by John Lazorack. This is the first car Lazorack has ever owned. He got it when he was just 16 years old. He will be 39 this year, so he has had it a long time. This was the car he learned to work on. He built it, tore it down and rebuilt it time and time again.

Lazorack and his Conquest TSi recently paid a visit to the Hoonigan Tire Slayer Studios. They posted a video of the encounter on the Hoonigan YouTube channel. As you can imagine the clip includes a lot of sliding, tire shredding and glorious LS V8 noise. We love this thing, and if you love LS-swapped cars shredding tires, you are going to love it too.

Exterior

Wow. Where do you start with the exterior modifications on this thing? Let’s start up front. The hood is stock, but the vents in it are not. The center vent was custom cut, and the side vents are from a Ford Mustang. The fenders and canards were designed digitally and then made with clay for a physical mold. The original car had a sunroof, but Lazorack did not want that. So, he got a steel roof and bonded carbon fiber over it. Out back is a massive spoiler that you can’t miss. Another thing you can’t miss is the four-outlet exhaust. It has baffles that are controlled electronically to keep the noise level down when this beast is unleashed on the street. Did we mention this is street legal? Well, it sure is.

LS Power

This car has an LS3 engine with a big cam under the hood. It makes 515 horsepower at the tires. Which are 315 millimeters wide at all four corners by the way. You just can’t beat an LS for easy, reliable power. The car only weighs about 2,950 pounds. That gives it roughly the same power to weight ratio as the new C8 Corvette Z06. The power is routed through a TREMEC TR-6060 transmission.

Showtime

Enough talk. Time to fire up this LS-powered beauty and do what she does best. First of all, it sounds freaking awesome. Can you beat the sound of a big cam LS? Second of all, holy smoke show. The 315 rear tires might be wide and sticky, but they are no match for the power. The car drifts, slides, and shreds tires like it was designed to do that. Actually, it was designed to do that so we should not be surprised. You just have to watch the video below to appreciate what this Conquest TSi can do. Keep in mind as this car is sliding around that it is a hand built one-off special. The fact that Lazorack drives it within an inch of its life earns him massive respect. Enjoy!
