RIDE ON! An 11 Second 2000 Camaro SS with a Need for Speed

11SECSS has been a member of LS1Tech since 2001, and he certainly has a lot to show for it.

However, he can show nothing greater than the ride he drives as evidence of his dedication and love of all things with an LS engine!

In the past he owned a 2001 Camaro SS, and now he drives an amazing 2000 Camaro SS with many modifications and need for speed!

Today we’ll step into his garage and take a look at the astounding ride within!

11SECSS has done a lot to improve his ride, whether it be for the road or for the strip.

Among other things, he has added an ECS cam, Eibach springs, a YANK SS4000, an LS6 Intake, and 1-7/8 inch Kooks long tube headers.

The ride has a manual six speed transmission and puts out 350 horsepower. However, 11SECSS has now installed a D1SC with FMIC Procharger, tuned by Frost. With the system installed the Camaro now has 554 horsepower and 441 lb/ft of torque.

11SECSS has yet to run on the strip with his new setup, but even without it the Chevy gets some amazing times on the quarter mile!

The best yet has been 11.256 seconds at 118.83 miles per hour. It is definitely fair to say that pretty soon here his username will be outdated, and this ride will run in the 10 seconds range!
