RIDE ON! A 1999 Pontiac Trans Am

LS1 RO 1

Appreciating a clean fourth generation Trans Am is something that is easy for anyone to do. They are rides that are attainable for a low sum of money, they are easy to modify, and they are a blast to drive.

In fact, not loving these beauties would be much harder than simply acknowledging what a great creation they were. And now that Pontiac is gone, these rides are some of the best vehicles out there to remember the car manufacturer by.

LS1Tech member GoodSpeed150 is the owner of one of these fantastic rides, and today we’ll be stepping into his garage to take a closer look at the car that lies within!

GoodSpeed150 bought this 1999 ride stock and has built it into what it is now, which seems to be a frequent occurrence with these beauties. After all, why keep something stock when you can just spend a little money and time here and there to get it closer to perfection?

One of the most impressive, and worthwhile, things that GoodSpeed150 did to his ride was switch from an automatic four speed transmission to a manual six speed, which we’re sure chopped a decent chunk of time off the quarter mile and made his Trans Am much more fun to drive!

GoodSpeed150 has come a long way with his ride, and it’s clear that he loves it quite a lot. Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on RIDE ON!
