Young Brody Goble from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada has been racing in Spec Miatas and Karts since 2005. He’s now got his sights set on drifting with his LS2-based S13-chassis Nissan 240SX Hatch. It’s a wild looking chassis with the Rocket Bunny kit that makes it stand out from the rest of the 240SX’s that you see compete at Evergreen Drift Pro Am in Washington. Let’s take a look at this very well prepared S13.

IMG_6612The engine started out as a GM Performance LS2 Block. From there, an Eagle Stroker Kit was installed, increasing displacement to 408 cubic inches. The heads are L92 parts that have been CNC machined with a COMP Cams valvetrain controlling the valves. Underneath the K&N Air Filter is a custom ISS Intake Pipe leading to a FAST LSX-R Plenum and 102mm Throttle Body. Fuel comes out of the FAST Fuel Rails and the injectors and spark are controlled by a MoTeC Engine Management ecu. This comes out to 512 wheel horsepower and 490 ft-lbs of torque!

Sending that torque to the rear is a G-Force GSR 4-Speed transmission by the McLeod Billet Magforce Twin Disc clutch. That’s transferred to The Diveshaft Shop custom 1-piece driveshaft to a Winters Quickchange rear end and The Drive Shaft Shop Level 5 Axles. The whole thing sits on Enkei RPF-1 18×10.5 +15 rear wheels. The smoke you inhale is thanks to the Achilles Radial 123S in 265/40R18. A matching set of 18×9.5 +15 RPF-1s sit in the front along with Achilles 123S in 245/40R18.

That stunning looking body is a combination of TRA Kyoto and Seibon Carbon. The bodykit, wing, and overfenders are the TRA Kyoto Rocket Bunny v1 kit while Seibon Carbon provides the DV-Style Hood, modified for the K&N Filter, and the light weight rear hatch with Lexan window.

Brody stays informed at all times thanks to the AiM MXL Dash Display and AEM Wideband gauge. The Nardi Deep Corn 350mm diameter steering wheel controls the front wheel motions while a hydraulic handbrake controls the second set of Wilwood rear calipers.

It’s an impressive car for Pro Am and is the wave of the future for many drivers looking to step-up their entry into the Formula Drift Pro and Pro2 championships. Keep your eye on this car and Brody Goble as we’ll see more from him in the future.
