We’re all huge fans of the absolutely bonkers Cadillac CTS-V. The car’s ability to go from comfortable luxury cruiser, to absolute hellion in a matter of seconds has been an absolute riot.

The stock Cadillac CTS-V Wagon packs a supercharged 6.2L LSA V8 that offers 556 horsepower at the back of the engine, but the murdered out Caddy super wagon in the video here offers 650 horsepower at the wheels.

Ultimately, it was hard to fault the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe. It bundled together effective hardware and helpful technology. Could it have used a little more power? Sure, but at least the numbers from its small engine were accessible.

My grandfather’s Cadillac looked nothing like the 2016 models at the Los Angeles Auto show. It certainly didn’t have 600 horsepower under the hood either. Why you ask? “Because you can never have enough horsepower,” according to the experts at Cadillac.

Luxury sedan or not, no one can deny that the Cadillac CTS-V is one hell of a car. The 2005 version put out 400 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque — and that’s when it’s just stock.
