Just a few days after spy shots showing the new Chevrolet Camaro Z28 testing at the Nürburgring with nothing more than a camo paint job, a video has followed showing that same muscle car in action at the Ring. The video also shows the new Z28 crashing hard.
This week’s Throwback video takes us back to 1969, when your local Chevrolet dealership had both a high performance car in the Camaro Z28 and a high performance truck in the CST/10 pickup.
This week’s Drag Race video features a quarter mile battle between a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS and a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro Z28 captures from the on-car camera of the SUV.
We already know the Camaro Z/28 is a pretty badass car. Instead of worrying about creature comforts and the everyday drive, Chevrolet built the best-driving Camaro ever made, and something that can easily hit the racetrack right off the dealership showroom floor.
Handful is probably not the best word I’d use when describing a 1969 Twin Turbo Camaro that’s pushing over 1000 hp. It’s probably better to call it a death machine, or fulfilling your life insurance policy early, or something to that nature. Or if you are the man that built it, you could describe it as fun as all hell, and I’m inclined to agree with him.
I don’t know if you all have been following my exploits over the past year, but I’ve become a bit of a Chevy fanatic in respects to loving the new Camaro. It’s loud, brash, and has more horsepower than God. And the heavenly Z/28 is the song within my soul. I just can’t stop gushing about it. I need one badly.
