The teams running the Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series have cars that look like the current 2016 Camaro across the front and out back, but when the NASCAR teams head to Daytona next February, the Chevrolet teams will be campaigning the 2017 Camaro SS race car shown here.

If there is a man to idolize as an up and coming engineer or even mechanic, it is “Smokey” Yunick. Henry “Smokey” Yunick, famous for his innovations in NASCAR, automotive performance, and several patents we take for granted today, it’s hard to believe he did not have an engineering degree.

Jeff Gordon is one of the most well known NASCAR drivers in history, and it’s easy to see why. The man has won the Daytona 500 three times, and the full Sprint Cup Championship a total of four times.
