When Chevy debuted the new Corvette Z06, they did so with the new Corvette Z06 C7.R racecar. It was the first time the two had debuted together, but the Corvette and the Corvette racecars have had a long standing symbiotic relationship throughout the cars history.

Callaway has become synonymous with tuning all sorts of GM branded products, but they’re most widely known because of their relationship between them and the Corvette.

The new Corvette Z06 is the fastest Corvette to date from the factory. With the 8-speed automatic it’ll make the run to 60 miles-per-hour in 2.95 seconds.
