Default What Else Do I Need?

Last week I ran an 11.35 at 117 with a 1.53 60' on motor. What would you recommend I do to knock off about 4 tenths to run a 10?

Car weighs 3600 with me in it but I just removed the front and rear bumper supports so I don't know what the weight is now.

Mods: SLP cold air kit. Built 4L60E, Yank PT4000, 28" M/T drag radials, Spohn Torque Arm and LCA's, LS6 intake, stock ported TB, Lunati 226/234 .554/.574 112 LSA, Moser 12-Bolt, 4.11's, Hooker long tubes and ORY, Borla XR1 bullet dumped before the axle and stock ported heads flowing 292 cfm's not milled. Car dynoed about 430 to the wheels before I swapped from the M6 to the A4.

I know weight reduction is obvious but I'm trying to avoid that for now. I don't have the pulley yet but I've heard that not too many people see gains from it.

I have nitrous but I want to see about getting into the 10's on motor since no one in my area has done it with a 346 n/a. I'd like to be the first. I can run a mid to low 10 easy with my TNT but where's the fun in that? LOL

I'd say your heads flow plenty, get a fast 90/90 and the underdrive pully, Why not do the rest of the free weight reduction, pass air bag is 15lbs and the door bars are 15lbs, sway bar15lbs, and it helps the front wheels lift easier.

I guess I can do the door bars since I'll have the roll bar. I already removed the front sway bar. I'd love the 90/90 but it's pricey. I'm keeping my eyes open for a good deal on one though.

I just removed those a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping there was a cheap (under $500) way to get into the 10's on motor without too much weight reduction. My wife and I go for a drive from time to time so taking out the passenger airbag is out of the question. Maybe I'll try a different cam.

Your 117 trap speed says you dont have enough power to get in the 10's at your weight.

More converter will get you closer(better 60 foot). Gonna take 121 ish mph to get in the 10's. 4 tenths is a world away from where you are now.

Pulley gained me a tenth and .5 mph. What is your 60'? Maybe some adjustable shocks.

My 60 ain't that great...1.53. I don't have any traction problems. FastFatBoy, I think you're right. I'll need major weight reduction or quite a bit more hp to get the mph up into the 120's. And when the roll bar comes in I'll be adding weight so I think I'll just take the easy way into the 10's and hit the TNT!

Shocks can help if you have traction or not.
