Default STOCK Cam guys in the 10s?

Just wondering how many other stock cam guys there are in the 10s.
I ran 10.89@123 on 150 shot about 3 years ago and havent been able to match it since. I have changed from 4.10s to 3.73s,Vig3000(very loose) to Vig3200(very tight),& from MT 275/40/17 DRs (26") to M&H 275/50/17 DRs (28"). I made those changes because I was going into OD way before the traps with the 4.10s and short tires but I still went 10.89@123 with a 1.47 60'. The best Ive been able to get outta the 3.73s and taller tires on 150 shot is 11.38@118 with a 1.60 60' and Im going through the traps dead on 6000rpms in 3rd gear yet it ran a lot slower because my 60' is nowhere near what it used to be. Also it may have MPH'd better before because of the stall locking up once it hit OD. Does anybody know where I can get (or how I can make) a manual lockup switch?

Anyway,I am going back to the 4.10s and the MTs for these reasons listed above. If I go into OD too soon Ill just cut the nitrous off for the rest of the pass and see what it runs. I want my 60' back!
I have a cuout now as where before I was running the GMMG catback so I would think it would pick up 1mph from my old times.
Hopefully,I can hit the 10s again time next time out. Ill let you guys know how it goes.

Any other STOCK cam guys in the 10s though???

Yeah theres the SI List but they dont have a list for SI with a power adder.
The only other one Ive seen with Stock H/C went like 10.90 or 10.80 on motor but it only weighted like 2800lbs.
See mine is a Daily Driver so Im looking for other guys that have full weight street cars with stock H/C in the 10s with any kind of power adder.

Thank you.
I dont really consider it a factory freak cuz I bought it brand new & it only went 13.39@103 when it was BONE STOCK,stock tires(Goodyear Eagle F1s Supercar),stock air filter & everything.
Since its been 12.09@111 on motor.
I can list all my bolt ons if ya'll are interested?
Like I said the 10.89 was on my old setup,Vig3000(flashed to 4200 after spraying it for bout a year),4.10s & MT 275/40/17 (26") DRs.
So thats the setup Im going back to and try and get back into the 10s stock H/C. Maybe even get an 11.99 on motor. That would be sweet.

Why not put a little bit into your suspension if you want to get that 60ft down? Hell, even decent lca's with relocation brackets might help get you back to where you want to be

Curious, are you launching on the spray?

I'll be there the next time I hit the track. Went 11.1 @ 125 the first time out with the 125 shot. Unfortunately the bottle was almost empty (~6-700 psi) and the w/s was shutting it down before the 1/4 mark. I have since then rased the cutout point and the limiter so with a full bottle it should see some high 10's next time out.

I dont see how suspension is going to do anything as it dead hooks now.
And yes I launch on the bottle.

Gotcha, go with what works lol. What RPM's were you shifting into OD at the track before and what would you take it up to now? Seems like maybe you could eek a little more room up top to make it work once you go back to the old combo (minus converter).

I'm just curious watching this, I have a new DD that I want to play with and see how quick I can get it SI and still be comfy on the street

Well back then I ran it up to 6400rpms with the 4.10s to stretch out the gear but it didnt really pull anymore past 6100rpms since its on the stock cam.
So now I have the shifts set at 6100rpms and it runs a lot better that way.

try a new stall like a circle d 4c or yank ss4000

also take the car in and see if the car needs to be retuned
