Default What does it take?

Just curious. I know there are alot of variables, but as a ballpark quess; for a 3700-3800 lb. car with a good race suspension

Is that weight with you in it? Possibly between 475-550. Like you said there are alot of variables though. Air, elevation, driver etc.

Yea with me in it and a full tank of gas.

It is a 69 SS vert with a LME LS7, full interior, all four cocktail shakers, full insulation, two 12" subs and two amps with a custom box in the trunk. Alot of weight, but 502rwhp on a DynoDymanics prior to a recent Mamo TB and IM port job, and a Halltech 102maf.

G-link 4 link rear with DS Varishocks all around. The suspension is all lightweight with SPC Pro-lite UCA and LCA, SKF C6 racing hubs and ATX spindles. The Baer GT brakes however are pretty solid and weighty.
Mark Williams aluminum driveshaft to lessen lbs.

Will finish the new tune today.
It isn't a club member, but I sure would like it to be close.

Right around 450RWHP @ 3700lbs. Your going to need a 1.50 60' or better to get there though.

hp isnt the big deciding factor..

a good 60 foot will get you there.. all you need is a little more up top to put you there..

1.4 60 foots will get you there.. anything slower your going to have some major top end pull..

Bowler 4l65e with a Compushift controller. Custom converter. 3.73 posi
Hurst dual gate will allow complete manual shift.
1.40 60 will take some practice and new rubber, my MT's are not as sticky anymore.
