Hows drivability
I am just curious of your drivability with this set up and this camshaft. How does your cam handle 6 gear cruising on the highway, at haighway speed with your 3.73 gear? What do you idle at, etc. I ask these questions because i have a similar setup based on a lt but practically the exact same cam with a bump more lift.
Any light you have on your drivability experience will be appreciated, thanks

Do you have a 3.73 or 3.42 gear, your sig says 3.42, but in one of your other threads it said 3.73; just asking. Aluminum, steel or stock flywheel; single or dual disk clutch?

Blew the junk Motive Gear 3.73's a couple of years ago, running the shot peened Z06 3.42's now. Cam has alot of overlap, (27*) so driveability is not at all like stock, but I can still roll down the interstate in 6th at 1800rpm
and putt around town in 3rd and 4th most of the time. Clutch is a Tex 0Z700
6 puck single with their lightened billet steel flywheel. It has been great, 3plus years and 15k street miles plus lots of launches and a few HPDE days on the road course. I have since got my et down to a 10.7 and the mph up to 133 on a poorly prepped track with a much lower DA. (around +800).
Still not powershifthing the car and there is still more power there because the tune is pretty rich yet. (12.4 at wot going through the traps). HTH

Thanks. It has been a "work in progress" since I bought it new in June of '03.
Where in J-Ville are you? On of my best Bro's on here, (Pit-Man) lives in Orange Park and has a bad-*** 10 second Z06 and low 11 second Silverado that he takes to Gainsville and SGMP whenever he can. I'm hoping to join him sometime this winter down there with my car if time and money permit.

I understand about a work in progress we just got mine all back together and working on tuning it in. This was my third time to the track so I am getting there. I need to put the car on a diet and work on the suspension some..
