Yes, at last! I just got kicked off the track in Gainesville!
Yes, at last! 10.87 at 122 mph. I just got kicked off the track in Gainesville for running a street car too fast! But it does feel great. Stock LS1/Trans Am + Vig. 3200 stall, TR 224 cam, TNT 200 shot, bolt ons, & tune = 10.87!!! Long live the LS1! And this is my only every day car, full weight with stock 3.23 gears. I hit the spray at the 60 ft. mark to save the rear end and then the bottle ran out around the 1000 ft. mark. I drove the car an hour to the track, embarrassed a couple of Ford trailer cars, got kicked of the track, and drove home all smiles. I believe the car has a 10.50 in it with a full bottle and 3.73 gears. Can someone please add me to the 10 sec. club?! Thanks, John

Isn't that a great felling?? I remember the day I was told I could not come back to the 1/8th mile track and just a few weeks after that was told I needed a cage and fire jacket before I returned to Bradenton down here in central Florida. It took a 10.600 @ 130+ for them to notice!!!!!!!

She usually runs 11.90`s N/A. Nope its a full weight Trans Am and the suspension and rear are 100% stock. I think the keys are the stall, 200 shot, and slicks.

Man that's killer for your mods. What nitrous kit are you running? Are you running a separate tune for the nitrous to compensate for timing and fuel? How about injectors and fuel pump? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to sort out the right combo and I think your answers will help many of us doing the same.

Thanks Carter01! I`m running a TNT single stage 200 wet shot. I have a Predator so I can change my tune before a nitrous pass and also make adjustments to the tune during the course of the day based on bottle pressure, weather, traction, fuel oct., etc. There is nothing like tuning a car on the track. I`m still running the stock in tank pump but I do have an inline booster pump. And I running stock injectors with NGK 7 plugs.
