Brian Tooley Racing Cam (235/242 .620/.594 111 LSA)
BTR .660 lift valve springs w/ titanium retainers
Chromoly pushrods
Comp Cams Rocker Arm Trunnion kit
FAST 90/90
85 mm MAF
98 mm Lid
42 lb injectors
u/d pulley
Racetronix fuel pump kit
LS6 oil pump
single roller timing chain
Nitrous Outlet 2 stage 90 mm plate
Lingenfelter 2 step
I still have some tweaks to get the 60' back down into the 1.4 range like I was previously going. I'll be sending the converter over to Greg at FTI to loosen it up a bit. I believe the car is dropping rpm on the launch and not fully activating the nitrous on the hit. I've only made 5 passes on the new setup but I'm pleased with the results so far. These passes were in 1900+ DA and 130+ track temps. She's definitely pulling nice on the top end.

My first time in the 10s I went 10.97 @ 121. That was on the stock motor. I eventually got it down to 10.74 @ 123 in some awesome weather and great track prep. The car was running consistent 10.9s to 11.0s at that point. I was also going 1.4x 60'. I figured that was about as far as I was going to be able to push the car without adding power and reducing weight. I was very pleased with the results.
Then I decided it was time to add a little power. That's when I went with a cam and 90/90 setup. I also had to upgrade all the supporting mods... injectors, fuel pump, u/d pulley, switched to a plate system, etc. I had already upgraded the trans, rear, suspension so I didn't have to worry about any of that with the 100+ rwhp gain.
Now, I'm having some issues with the nitrous activating on the hit, thus the drop in 60' from 1.42-1.44s to 1.57-1.60s. Sending the converter off to get restalled and hoping this corrects the issues. Once I get back into the 1.4 range she should drop another .1-.2 off the ET. Add some cool weather and we'll see what kind of numbers I can put up.
The goal with the car was to be able to run 10.5s in any weather (good ole HOT FL weather) and some hero runs of low 10.3s to high 10.2s in some really low DA during our 'winter' months. However, I figured I'd be achieving these goals on some low 1.4 60' times. The fact that I went 10.5s @ 129 in 1900+ DA with track temps over 130 degrees has me excited with the potential still left in the car. My last pass I went 129.75 mph. I didn't expect that at all. Let's me know she's making the steam up top.

hey man I'm about to order a BTR Stage 4 cam, looks like thats what your running here. Just curious what you put down on the dyno, and are you still running stock heads? My setup will be BTR Stage 4 cam, Ported 243s, LS6 Intake, UD Pulleys, headers, etc. Just trying to guess what ill put down.

Here's a link to my dyno results with graph and video. Driveability is awesome. It drives the same as before but with an extra 115+ rwhp. 420 rwhp through a big stall Th400 and 9". I can't complain with that. If they had kept pulling it I could have made better "peak" numbers, but I don't care. The dyno was there for the tuning.
I went 129.75 mph trap speed. I figure with my weight I'm making at least 550rwhp. Graph goes to 538rwhp but I shift at 6700 rpm, not 6400 where the graph stops.
I do have a 90/90 setup which I'm sure the cam is liking up top. And yes, stock 241s. Non-ported.

I typically don't add music. I like to hear the cars also. For some reason I had some sync issues when i uploaded these videos. So, the sound and the video were off. You hear the car launch then see it. Shift points are off etc and that's just ghey. lol

Just a little update, the car has gone 10.27 and 10.28 on 1.46 60'. MPH on the 10.27 was 131.6 and 130 on the 10.28 pass.
