Default Low 10's N/A SBE LS6 Vette

Hi, can I get in the 10 second club?

-Stock bottom (except rod bolts), H/C/I 346 CI.
-custom cam, TrickFlow 215's, 373's auto, Hoosiers on Bogarts (CCW's), EWP

The motor recently went (cracked #7 piston) and I picked up a new short block with some better internals, going to use the heads and cam et. and see if I can't get a single digit out of the LS6 (346Ci) before spraying. both of my cars do have NANO systems installed.

Hope to get single digits (N/A) out of this one in the Fall

I have another car that I recently went 10.29 with that also should go a bit faster since they were recently tuned and both picked up an additional 20+ rwhp.

I'll throw the vid up for fun...

Thanks - Rob

Sure, the 98 (top pic) at the time had a Yank 4,000 in it at the time it was running the 10.2's above. When we took it apart for refresh, most of the fins were pretty much gone so I've recently replaced it with a Yank 3,800 Power adder series last year. It has a dozen or so passes on it. I've only tracked it one day and was cutting 1.38's and a 1.37.

The 04 has a Yank 3,600 it that hits pretty hard and will pull the wheels off N/A . That car is a 382 and should also get a 9 second quarter. When spray comes on, they come up again. It's pretty cool to watch.

The 346 haa a bigger cam in it and put down more rwhp and torque.

I'll post a video of the 3,800 from the 346Ci motor on the dyno, I love how it flashed right to 5200 rpms.

These are time slips from last year with the Yank 3,800

Not sure, if I had to guess probably3,200 with me in it. The last few times I was at rentals, the scales were not open. Both of them are daily drivers with stereo, air, door panels etc.. I remove the front sway and pass seat, floor mats and empty out the junk. They have the added weight of roll bars. Installed by Carrols Never lift.

The 98 with the 3,800 I can bring up to about 2,700 before she starts to push the skinny's.

The o4 in the video was from an idle but normally is set around 1,700. Yes, both have worked 4l60e's.

Cool man the cars are moving out! I need to "get up" on my yank ss4000 more than 1500rpm's. I need some 1.3x's 60ft's.

If you ever get down to Cecil dragway let me know. Great place to get personal best (Atco is also). I'm looking for mid 10's this fall N/A.

My 04 is in Florida planning to go there soon and bring it's drag pack there, make it back here in Jersey for some fall rentals before heading down there for the winter months, I'd like to hook up with someone there and run that one in some cool air. It should go single digits there. It just had a Holley Dominator V2 installed so I may bring my NANO tanks as well.
That car has gone 9.5X on a 100 shot.
Please hit me up when you get any track info,
Thanks

Bradenton is the closest 1/4 to me. February seems to be the best chance for best DA (-1,000 - 1,500)

Please keep me in mind when February comes around. Is Matt S. still around there? He had his hands in my (track) tuning with Tommy from Anger Management, I'd like to catch up with him.

This will be my first winter living in Flagler Beach, up on A1a, retired in March. My 04 is there and the 346 is in Jersey. I understand there is a big corvette club in Flagler.

Gainesville or Orlando would be your closest. Bradenton is where I go and that would be a 3 hour drive for you.

The cams are custom grinds by Anger Management, one is from Kelford In New Zealand, the other (382Ci motor) I'm not sure of. It was my best friends car and he passed away and left me his car. We raced the 10.50 index together before his passing.
The 346 motor is a Kelford cam.

Thanks for the kind words ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
