Default 10.9's in +3,500 DA, full weight, no cam 6th GEN

Loaded the car up, drove it 1,200 miles to Bowling Green and back for Camaro Fest and got the #1 qualifier spot in N/A SBE. The car weighed 3,820 on race day. DA went from +2,800-+3,500 during the day. Car still has the stock cam.

Mods:

PRAY ported IM/TB and Heads
Kooks 2" headers w/ cats
PRAY custom 3" exhaust w/ stock muffler
Roto-Fab CAI w/ dry filter
Circle D 4C
E85 at only E74 at the track
PRAY Tuned
Race Star 17" drag back on 28's.

Congrats on the consistent 10.9's in that DA. You drove 1200 miles to Bowling Green, and then ran your car at the track...you are a much braver soul than me

Thanks guys. It was a blast. All the guys in my class were awesome to race with.

Let me clarify, it was 609 miles each way. 1,200 total.

The last two 11.00 passes were in competition and it was about impossible to stage the car correctly on the Pro Tree. Had it been TnT I think they would have all been in the 10's that day.

Loving these results with basic mods!

How is the fueling on these cars with E85? Close to needing an upgrade or plenty of overhead?

Thanks guys.

I am going to have to check my injector ms and rail pressure the next time I have HPT running and E in it. I am pretty sure I am good right now. I am dropping a ZL1 in tank pump in soon for some future upgrades. To get any more power out the thing N/A I would have to do a cam and that would have a 32% fuel lobe so that would help as well. I would say with no fuel lobe and the stock in tank pump I am probably getting pretty close to the limit with E. The car has to be making some steam to run that MPH at that weight in that weather. I guess this winter I could hit the limit. From my reading I am thinking the stock system on E would be good for 530rw or so. I am sure I am at that in 6th on one of the dyno's I use. Content also has a lot to do with it. I don't think I have ever seen over E77 at the pump. I was only at E74 max on the above passes.
