Just to update....
Took all the cobbled STS based turbo stuff off and sold it...
Swapped on/in a Dorman LS2 intake, WARR 92mm TB, and a Sloppy Stage 2 cam.
Swapped the stock exhaust manifolds for BBK longtubes and a Jeg's $250 catback
And added a Nitrous Outlet plate setup, capable of 400shot, but bottles only flow enough to make 300...(that was pre-planned, lol)
Still have the too tight, turbo spec'd converter, but swapped in a Trick Chassis 9" and Strange chromoly driveshaft....
First time out this year, NA footbraking went 12.20@113-114... 1.81 sixty foot
First time spraying a 150 shot, footbraking went 10.69@125 ... 1.49 sixty foot
Car now weighs 4,005# with me in it....(iron block, 4L80, 9")
Put car on Mustang Dyno the next week to make sure AFR was good...
12.8:1 afr N/A (as raced) made 348/356
150 shot, as raced, w/11.8:1 afr, made 447/484, and
a 200 shot, with mid 11:1 afr, made 504/520
No worthwhile difference with cutout open versus closed...
I think it'll go 10.20-10.30@130-ish with some more seat time and shift rpm testing.
