Default Running 10s on stock driveshaft

Is there anyone here running into the 10s on a stock aluminum driveshaft,
m6 trans, and slicks? What rpm are you launching at?

I ran the stock steel ds in my '98. Never had any problems. My buddy ran 10.64 in his 2000 firehawk with the stock aluminum shaft. Tweaked it out of balance a bit though.

Yeah, it did tweak it quite a bit. But what do you expect with a 10 sec. 3700lbs car.

A stock driveshaft will handle the ~450rwhp to run high 10s.

As long as you have a loop, it won't hurt anything. I know at least three guys that left them in there just to see it break, so they can put pics of broken driveshafts on their website. I guess its cool.
