9.98@138.80mph--stock bottom end 346 n/a
Ran a new best in my c5 03Z.
Drove to the track on a street night, aired down the drag radials, and managed a 9 second pass on my last run.
The air was great with some high humidity.
My setup is:
Anger Management Racing heads/cam package
TFS 215 heads
Custom Cam
American Racing Headers
Fast 90/90
4.10 rear built by AMR
M6 trans built by AMR
Vararam
Drag package with drag radials
The car is a street car with some minimal weight reduction.
My 4 passes were:
10.08@137+
10.04@137+
10.003@138+
*9.985@138+
I have video, timeslips and datalogs of all passes.
The car made 457rwhp and 382rwtq on a stingy MUSTANG dyno on. I have posted the dyno sheet months ago on this forum.
I will post the video again shortly.

I sometimes run with the passenger seat out, have a drag pack, and smaller front brakes that I purchased with the wheel package. The typical things someone who drag races alot might remove.
The passes in the video were from a street night and I drove an hour to the track so the fuel was more than i would iked to have run.
The only time my car was scaled this year at etown it weighed 3280 with me in it.
If my car was 2800 pounds I would put this car in the 9.6x's.

I still have my 5 question Mr Zona...
Please answer them before your lap dog comes in here and ***** on everything you have "accomplished"
They may be in a different order from last time since I cant exactly remember.
1. How in the world are you heavier then a stock Z06 when you have a carbon fiber hood, 15" Bogarts, light weight brakes, one light weight race seat and so on so forth. What is your TRUE race weight at the time of the magical 9.98 pass?
2. How come you say you drive the car when everytime I have seen your car run at E-town it has always been on a trailer? What changed?
3. Since I assume you have a slipper clutch with your face plated transmission [all parts made by Six Speeds Inc assembled by Tommy] How long does the friction plate last driving it on the street?
4. How come you closed your hood as soon as Mike walked up to your car, and why do you park as far away as possible at the track from everyone else. I only ask because with your seemingly amazing pass there are a lot of unanswered questions and you seem to keep them from everyone.
5. How come when your car ran low 10's you would go from 104/105 in the 1/8mile to 131/132mph in the 1/4 mile, and even when you ran your 10.1 the MPH increase was the same, now all of a sudden you go from 106 to 139. You increased 1mph in the 1/8mile to gaining 7 mph in the 1/4 mile. What happened in 4th gear? How did you miraculously make so much more power in 4th gear then the previous 3 and more power in 4th gear on this pass compared to all of your other passes?
Yup, that think that was it.
Please answer those questions to quit annoying doubters like me.
Thank you.
Love you Rob!
BTW, I will continue to ask these questions every time you post a thread because I think we have a right to know.
When you shatter a record like that, its natural for people to wonder. When I ran 10.32 I was told by many I have a big cube motor. All I want to know is your race weight at the time of the 9second pass, why all the shadyness, drive on the street when your car is always on a trailer, how streetable is a clutch that is not supposed to be driven on the street, and where did you get all this MPH?
Thank you sir.
Come on Mr Skank, some of my friends did not see our precious game of fetch, shall we recreate it?

mustang may read lower than dynojets. it could be higher at 500whp on a dyno jet..at that weight tho that still seems high to hit 138. i figure i'm at between 500-550whp and i go 127-128 on a good day at 3500 lbs estimated..maybe 3450

I've had a similar raceweight for years with my old and new setup. The only thing different in weight on my car in the past few YEARS is the fact that I decided to go with a different drag pack because I wanted a new look and the brakes needed to be changed to fit. I hated how 17" inch rims looked up front with 16's out back. I purchased the front rims and brakes as a package to fit with the stock front spindle.
As i said before if my car was 2800lbs or less I'd be gunning for mid-high nines with a low 1.3x 60' time.
