absolutely. from logging my passes I command a 6k shift its shifting at 6k right on the money just about everytime. its never a couple hundred rpm over. the most I recall is being like 50-70 over. in HPT I have my shift tables set up so that it hits the MPH first so all its waiting on is the RPM to hit the set point and bam its shifting. so far that has worked great for me that way. I might try to set my shift point up to 6300 for a few passes and see how the passes turn out. if my times improve or what not. worth tinkering a few times to see if I can get PB anyway.

Car has been 11.96 with the new 9" rear. I was expecting it to slow down some with the new rear but it has been running good. My wife has been in 2 final rounds out of 3 races winning 1 of them. After this race season it will get heads and a cam to get it to 11.50 (quickest et you can run it class).

awesome ET's . quick question when you talked about the 2-3 command shift being 1000rpm before it actually shifts is this a common problem? i have 98 camaro with all boltons yanks4000ss, 3.73 gear 26in tire an just had the trans rebuilt plus added transgo hd2 shift kit from pro built automatics an still from time to time i am hitting rev limiter on 2-3 shift. my guy that tunes uses hp tuners. my 2-3 shift is set at 5900rpm 61mph an rev limit @6300rpm shift pressure is set to stock because of shift kit. my tuner tells me he doesnt recommend setting rev limit over 6300 on stock top end setup.. do you think my shift point needs to be set back a bit so it will command the shift earlier? any advice appreciated

A 1000 seems like a lot. Your mph/rpm has to match up.My commands are set at 6000 on this car and I will have to check the speed. It ticked the limiter on the 2/3 shift first pass so I dropped the speed down 2 mph and it fixed that. My second car I shift at 6400 but that is with a TH350 with the limiter at 6850.I have not got into pushing this car yet. Both cars have PRC springs add Comp Cams trunion upgrades.
