I believe this guys times, sure it was not factory showroom stock, but the engine is factory stock long block. Congrats Torkman15, my wife almost ran what you did in her stock long block 1998 Z28, it specs out very similar to yours. The long block is all stock, no free mods at all. It has long tubes with bullets, a TH400 (rather than your M6) with a 4000 B&M stall, 12-bolt with 4.33s, BMR X-Treme TQ Arm (no other suspension mods, all factory pieces, even the shocks and springs!) and 28x11.5x15 ... the car weighs 3080 and ran a 12.020 @ 110.86 at Famoso with a DA of 1500'. What is so hard to believe about this from some people? Anyways Torkman15, we would have done the same, but were bracket racing (Summit Finals) and couldn't afford to get kicked out on a technicality (no roll bar) early in the race.

Thanks 12secSS, I just traded my beloved monster truck for a 1995 Z with an LT1 with 66,000 origional Florida miles (that means alot here in Michigan) to try to get my wife into the mix...she loves the car "the way it is" with its ice cold air and 275 factory horsepower so I'm letting her just drive it for now till the weather gets too wet. I'm glad to hear about your wife running fast times I'll show my wife she can do it too, just a little slower.

My garbage? Oh so calling BS is now forbidden by YOU? Well seeing as you still seem to have a problem with me let me say this....

Well pony boy I'll call BS on something else. I see that you removed that link with the pictures and description of your car. Remember when I asked you how is it that your car gained SOOOOO much weight from leather seats, a cage and a 12 bolt? You answered that your car weighed 3000 lbs empty so with you and the above mentioned additions it all made sense. BS. On that web page your car was described by you as a 3000 lb tin can and that was RACE WEIGHT with you in it. Remember?

I guess you have a problem with what I'm saying to Torkman cause you're one of those guys who likes to bend the truth.........aww screw this PC ****, you lied. Caught you in lies on several occassions when you and I were fueding a while back and that's why you removed the link.

One guy started name calling in this thread yet his post still stands. Why is it that you didn't edit any other so called negative posts by other authors? Because you're an immature lil dipshit, AND A BIG FAT LIAR.

Maybe your mod buddies let you and others slide with this **** but I won't. There's alot of good info on this BB and ALOT of BS aswell. You're supposed to be a filter for that, but not a capricious one.

Torkman - here ya go......

Silversurfer When I posted the 12.90 I also posted the current mods to the car, I wasent trying to hide anything then as I'm not trying to hide anything now...I just mis worded the thread. Please dont hijack my thread to carry out any personal agenda or to make stabs at anyone.

SilverGhost I didnt mean to stir up a hornets nest here, one misworded title and the thing went terribly wrong. Shoot it in the head I'm done here

Torkman, not your fault.

Surfer, are you that fuckign stupid. I clearly explained why your stuff got edited..because YOU STARTED POSTING **** THAT I ASKED TWICE TO STOP, AFTER THE FACT!

anyone with a damned brain could have just read my request and not done it, its just THAT simple. but not YOU, you are SPECIAL and therefore can just go ahead and keep stirring up crap that is not even remotely neccessary.

the point was proven 25 posts before you even opened your trap, you directly went against my attempt to keep this guy's thread peaceful and technical, which IS part of my job. and when morons like you can't read, the next part of my job is to enforce the rules, thus my editing work.

now you want to talk about MY car?

The link is still alive and well, i just removed it from my sig because i wanted a nice picture sig so i had one made for me.

NEVER have i said i EVER had a raceweight of 3,000 lbs..that was ALWAYS the curbweight of the car WITHOUT ME IN IT. As explained before...the car in the fall of 03 weighed in at 3, 050 lbs without me in it and 1/2 tank gas. so that would have been 3,235 WITH me. i weigh 185.

As explained before. I since added leather seats, and 80+ lb steel rollbarr, a heater, a metal battery box, 65Lbs of mufflex catback exhaust. The car weighed in at north vs south at 3370 with me in it with 1/2 tank gas, and the scales were proven to be a bit light..who knows how accurate the scale i weighed in at 3,050 without me was.

I DON'T LIE ABOUT **** *******.

my car is a forged 347 heads and cam M6 car running 11.0's carrying the front tires past the tree at realistically a 3300 lb raceweight at the moment since i dropped a bit of weight off last track trip and had very little gas in it.

AND YOU AIN'T GOT **** THAT CAN TOUCH THAT. said it before say it again..quit trolling on here and get wrenching and run a time someone will give a **** about.

I think an stock motor, stock exhaust (with cutout) full weight 01-02 car with 12bolt, good T/A, 4.56 gears, 28x9 inch slicks and a good clutch/driver could hit 11's easily at around 111-112mph at 6200rpm.

A lid, headers, tuning would definitely get it there but I think it can be done bone stock with the right drivetrain/gearing/slick setup. Especially on the NY, NJ, MD tracks in November with negative 2000-3000 DA air

A cloth interior hardtop weighing around 3600 with driver could definitely do it I think.

Chris - I think it can be done aswell.

MikeC- your gain was mostly due to the sway bar removal allowing the nose to come up and the tires to hook better.

SilverGiblet- you're still a douche. lololol

I agree, no need to be so harsh BUT, do not use the term bone stock in a title when the car is FAR from it.
IMO the correct terminology here should be "stock internals car hits 11s" or "11s in a bolt on only 2000 LS1"...that car is about as 'bone stock' as John Force's Mustang but of course the inside of the motor actually is so congrats on that!
I myself am just a set of long tubes away from 'stock internal' 11s myself hopefully.

Great times--very similar to what I ran in my bolt on 99 WS6 A4, untuned, ls1 intake, macs, blah blah-all the rest of the bolt ons-3450 lbs 12.013@113 1.54 60ft. Your "Bone Stock" statement is kind of misleading-it got you alot of reads/replies though! "Stock Internal" sounds better

My goal is to break 11's SI with stock Exhaust with cut-out. I am pretty close. All I need is a gear, clutch and some HP tuners magic. Not to mention a good track day.

BTW good numbers.

Congrats Smokin!
