Not sure if I want to make the next step towards nitrous or not. I've had it on several other cars, so I know the results...just don't want to also have to make the next steps to be NHRA legal as well.

What is your launching technique? Explain from the burnout box to the first 60" out?
I have that exact same stall in a full bolt on 3.23'd car with the 255-16 MT ET Street radials that I get back to me tuned on thursday.
And I will be hitting it with a 100-125 wet on Jan 10th 2008 @ the local 1/8th mile
Let your prayers be with my 4L60E and the stock 3.23 10 bolt

Make 100% sure ASR is OFF, lol...
Roll through waterbox
Manually shift it first gear into second gear, for about a five second total, high rpm burnout.
Let off brakes and gas at same time and let car "bite in" as I roll toward starting line.
Ease into pre-stage beam, put shifter in D.
Very gently creep into stage beam and hold idle up to just below 1500rpm's.
Floor it on last yellow.
Collect another 11 second timeslip at timing booth.

I dropped 2 tenths, and picked up 2mph switching from a VIG3800 to my TCI4400. The crazy thing is, the TCI actually feels tighter driving around. I think you would see similar results switching to a PT4000. I think I saw one for sale in the classified section.

Mine is supposed to be a 3600, but I know it shows "loose" until 4300 on the dyno, so I definitely don't want anything any looser than that. I'll have to make those 2/10ths up some other way.

I think a PT4000 might actually be tighter than your VIG3600. VIG underrates their stall speed quite a bit from what I've heard. Like I said, my TCI4400 feels tighter than my VIG3800 did.
My car weighs about 3470 w/driver.

The converter has A LOT to do with it! I bet my car would be even quicker with a PT4400. My best with the VIG was 11.52, when I switched converters I ran consistent 11.30's. My 11.19 pass was on a 70 degree day in September. It also ran a few 11.2's that day.
