Default Can I get in? 7.99 1/8th

I have a 1995 Formula with Most bolt ons and a tune. last night I ran at the local 1/8th mile and ran a best of 7.998 with a 1.76 60' with a best mph of 84.87. This should be mid 12's at any track in the world...? Can I have the title?

I think my 7.99 pass was a 12.43 on the quarter.

That for sure is a mid 12's pass. My LT1 car went 8.01 (1/8) @ 87, and 12.61 @ 109 (1/4), sixty foot times were in the mid to high 1.85 - 1.88's. If I could have gotten the car to hook that night (1.6x's) I'm sure it would have went 12.30/40ish. The car was and is still a pure bolt-on car with stock heads and stock cam. It's a fully loaded WS6 T/A with no weight reduction and at the time it made 323 rhwp / 343 rwtq. I think it makes a little more now, I've done a few remaining bolt-ons and I would bet the car is making 330 rwhp / 350 rwtq. I personally think If I could run a 1.6 60ft it would translate to a 12.30 ish @ 110 plus (JMO).

Either way, you have a stout running bolt-on LT1!

Old thread

I ran an 8.2 1/8 and got into the 12s. Although, to get the title change you actually have to run at a 1/4 mile track and run the 12.

I really agree with this!
There is no guarantee if you run xx in the 1/8 you will run xx in the 1/4 many things can be an issue.. time slip has to show an actual run.

At any rate good 1/8 mile times

Ya a 8.20 in the 1/8 should be a 12.71-12.79 in the 1/4..

8.20x1.55=12.71
8.20x1.56=12.79.

I think if his/hers 1/8 time is fast enought thats its a 12s run in the 1/4 he/she should be in the club..Like I seen someone said there isnt any 1/4 mile track around or near where they live..

In theory yes however,in actuality car may not have enough steem to get to the other end or actual track conditions, weather,DA etc. play a big role.

NOT saying OPs car does not have what it takes i feel it definately does but the slip is the actual truth
