Default Its that time of the year again. PB time.

Its time to go back up and do this. The goal is break into 11s before I cam it.
Stats and times last time up...
+500 da
60'...1.686
1/4...12.062
mph...111.57
Car weighed in around 3190 with 1/4 tank gas.
Mods...lid, ssra, full exhaust, ss3600, tuned, mt drs 275 40 17 all around.

I plan on going wed or and fri. I expect the weather to be around 15 degrees cooler than before. Mods are the same except some small changes I made...
Swapped the pacesetters, tsp ory, and borla to arh with their catted y (but gutted) and a new borla. This time Im disconnecting the brackets on swaybar. I also added 20-30lbs when I put the carpet back in.

I think I should have this as long as I hook. I hope with the swaybar disconnected it really does help.
Any advice?

what tires?

just remove the swaybar (it's like 4 more bolts) and you'll lose most of the carpet weight. not to mention, weight off the nose is the best kind.

Its going to come down to DA. If you can get something around 0 or better, you should make it.

I was going to take it off but the ends are so rusted I cant imagine the bolts coming off unless it breaks off. I didnt wanna lose the bar permanently anyway. I want it on for the street. Today is the first time I have driven without it and while its not bad its still not the same. Kinda boaty floaty feeling.

Yep thats what I figured. That and hopefully the ricers dont drag the waterbox to the line and down the track.

Yea dude im pretty excited to get this.

Heres my list. I actually weighed the stuff myself. Weights could be off from other peoples but its all somewhat close so take it fwit.

Air pump and all attachments-8
Stock disk changer-8
T top holders-2
Windshield wiper reservoir-2
Spare tire and jack-35
Stock TC 50 minus Yank Tc 30 - 20
A/C-33
Back seats with seat belts/bolts-33
Front pass seat with seat belt-35
Front bumper support-19.2
rear bumper support 20.8
carpet 50.4

TOTAL 264.4LBS

Also I probably lost some weight with going full exhaust over stock.
I would like to weigh it again to see if the weight is accurate or not.
It was all free and didnt hack my car up at all.

Good luck man, I'm right there with you. I went for 11's last weekend after running a 12.23, ran 12.04 w/ a crappy 1.77 60'. If my new budget suspension setup comes in before Friday night I will be going to the track and trying everything to get that 11 sec slip.

If you have just as much off your car as me and your car weighs 3610 then I would have to say your scale is off more than mine! IDK where you get 600lbs from...my math is 420 from our weights. Yes a manual is lighter than auto for sure. I really dont know how acurate any scale is so who knows? I can say that my weight seems to be more of the norm than your does though just saying.
Hey man just got the swaybar off so ill be 10-15lbs lighter and hopefully it will make me hook good.
Thats a nice 60' for a manual isnt it?!

Yea I know, I feel like I should have supports on. I might put everything back on the car after I get 11s the way the car is now. I just wanted to say I have 11s with just minor bolt ons and ss3600.

If I didnt plan on anyother weight reduction mods then the back seats would stay. But for me this was a group effort with all the parts together. Obviously just taking 30lbs out wouldnt be worth it but everything I took off together was the goal. Seemed to work for me seeing how my car did 12.08 full weight in -1000 da then did a 12.06 in +500 da with weight reduction. Hell yeah I bet skinnies would help.
Were you talkin bout goin up this fri or next fri? Depending how the car does tonight I might go up fri to who knows.

No I go to ned. Only times I usually can make it are on stupid street nights. I hate those idiot ricers that drag the waterbox to the line and down the track.
I thought you go to ned my bad lol
