As a farewell to the 12 second club, I figured I'd post my first picture.

Default As a farewell to the 12 second club, I figured I'd post my first picture.

I made it into the club in June or July of this year and my last trip to the track on August 27th netted me 3 time slips of 12.43, 12.48 and 12.49 in over 3000 DA. Best mph to date is 110 in the same 3000 DA. So with the new year comes the new mods. I'm currently adding:

LTCC w/ LS1 coils
125rwhp shot
Line lock
Cutout
Skinnies

So while I was happy to be a part of the 12 second club, I will be even happier when I move on.

I've never posted a picture of my car before so here you go. Imagine the LT1 saying "peace out 12 second club".

I've got half the car in primer, I'll have the entire thing in flat black this spring.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Things have changed a little since I posted this picture. The block is apart and I am adding forged EVERYTHING as we speak. Shot will be bumped up to 150 and I'll be revving to about 7000. Looking for 10.9's this year at Thompson Raceway Park.

In case anyone was wondering... That launch is on a stock suspension with nittos launching from idle with some bolt ons and a cam that was too big for that combo.

Nope, although I think I'm going to give that a shot this year.

I drive my car all over town, so I don't want to take it off completely. But I will probably disconnect it at the track.

I have had my front sway bar and brackets off for 2 years. I daily drive mine and I haven't had any problems.

Once my engine goes back in later this month I'm going to try it around town with the sway bar off and if I like it, I'll keep it off.

Unless your hustling the car the sway bar missing is not really noticeable. Thompson is in Ohio right? I've drive from Virginia to Norwalk to run in the Pontiac performance nationals back in the day. Best track ever! Good luck on the 10s

Yes, Thompson is in northeast Ohio, just south of Lake Erie. I can't wait to head to Norwalk this summer. It's about a 3.5 hour drive each way for me.

New developments on the car. Got my entire forged rotating assembly, car is in 1,000,000 pieces and the block is heading in for machining tomorrow. Have my LTCC kit with LS2 coils. Just have to buy gaskets, bolts and bearings along with a couple little things. Probably going to wait on spraying my nitrous kit until I get a purge kit and bottle heater which will take about another month or so.

It never did that last year. Both lanes were always consistent for me and my friends.
