Default 12 sec pass on street tires.

Ran a 12.8 @ 114mph with a 2.2 60' on street tires.
Have to say im very disappointed. About 30 minutes later soon as i drove the car off the property it shelled a lifter. Now the motor is being rebuilt...again.
The car put down 411/370 with 317's and a 233/239 cam.
Im also running a 9" rear with 3.89's. Stick car.
Hopefully after i get my ported 5.3 heads and have my compression over 9.7:1 and some slicks it will get down into the 11's.

Sorry about the pic im not sure why it came out like that.

8.4 @ 90mph in the 1/8th is respectible on radials. Good race - what was in the right lane?

Dayum...I ran a 8.4 @90mph in my car and have -100rwhp than you. Well thanks for the reference. So I should see a high 12's pass in my car in the 1/4.

Im thinking it was my compression that was killing me. And weight. 317's with about 9.7:1 compression. My new setup is going to be 11:3:1 ported 5.3 heads with a eps cam.
Hopefully it runs a little better.

That is not a bad time.Look at his 60ft 2.2.Put some tires on that car he would be all in the 11's 116 to 118mph.It is just a waste of time at the track on street tires. He was running 90 thru the 1/8th which is real strong on street tires. His mph says it all.
