Smile Made it to the 12s

It's been a few years since going to track but finally hit the 12s this past weekend. Need work all around, traction was biggest issue but, high 12s are still 12s stock rear end won't appreciate slicks LOL. Clutch was sticking to floor at end of runs, just had to lift back up and was back to normal, thought that was taken care of but looks like it's back.

M6, TSP 228r 112, QTP LT, FIPK, LS6 intake, Tick Master, Strano w/Bilstiens, BorlaMouth, OE C6 w/NT555s, and some typical suspension parts.

that 112 trap says its got high 11 low 12 potential if you can fix that 60 foot , congrats on 12's

What was the DA?

Congrats on the 12's but with those mods I would expect 11's. You don't need a slick, just get a decent DR and slip the clutch out of the hole.

As far as the pedal sticking, you still on the OEM clutch/slave? My issue wasn't the master cylinder when that started to happen to me. A lot of people try and bandaid a problem with the Tick but that doesn't always work.

If you can 60' in the 1.7 range you should be low 12's.

It was the worn out stock clutch. Pressure plate was definitely done, and I'm sure the slave had seen it's day as well. I've never had a problem with the stock Master Cylinder (drill mod done) one all of that was taken care of.

I'll look into the clutch/slave, both we're replaced few years ago with ls6 clutch, so possible could be the issue. Thanks.

Thought the DA was on the time slip but nope, not sure what it was. Was a nice cool day in Iowa if that helps.

Gotcha. I had an LS6 clutch as well. Anything more than stock power, once on sticky tires, the LS6 clutch sucks haha.

nice run, congrats!

Many people have the same sticky clutch pedal issue...it's the stock LS6 clutch, the pressure plate starts to fail @ high rpms with any kind of abuse (it seems)...get rid of it...only way to solve the problem completely is with an aftermarket setup
