Default Disappointing New PB 12.46 @ 115.65

Went out for opening day of test and tune. DA was 2062. Kinda bummed with the MPH after upgrading to a FAST 92/92 from a PP stock TB and LS1 intake. Switched the FIPK for the CHRS 1313 non A/C. Thought I'd gain 5 mph with that combo... I attached a time slip from last season and today.

I'm also in the process of saving for MAST heads but maybe I should upgrade something else before I do heads

Any advice?

115 trap says it has solid 11's in it , 60ft isn't very good fix that and you will be happier.

both my stock internals cars trapped 111/112 on 1.7 60 foots ( which still isn't great) m6 car trapped 111 on a 11.9 pass stalled auto trapped 112 on a 12.1 pass (with fueling issues) I did have much better air than you but still that trap says your making more power than either of mine just got to get it to the ground...

Running NT555s. I was spinning pretty bad. Tried leaving soft at 1500 but I would bog. Psi was at 22.

I was thinking Viking coil overs. I have kyb agx right now. Came on the car when I bought it.

it looks like your a 6 speed car running on nitto's , 6 speed cars hook better on a slick than a dr - especially a nitto , if you don't want to go to a slick then a hoosier qtp is probably the closest thing without technically being a slick as far as passing tech is concerned.

Yep, 6 speed with 3:90s. I was trying to get the best of both worlds with the nittos. I don't have an extra set of wheels for the Hoosier. My car is a weekend warrior, so I'm not sure if It would be safe to drive around town on a Hoosier type tire.

Last summer the nittos worked well but now I have another 30/20 with the new set up. It breaks the tires free fairly easy on the launch and in second and third as well.

I've driven around on my ET Street bias plys, it's great fun around town but I wouldn't make a habit of it. They wear fast and they're just not robust enough for constant street duty IMO. Drag radials would be a better option for a M6 that sees mostly street duty. Bias plys are the only way to go for strip use though.

The 60' is where your lost et is. I think the mph isn't bad at all. I run M/T ets and they hook better than the nittos, but I'm also an A4. I drive them on the street at 33 psi... weekend warrior like you. Just don't get caught in the rain or take curves fast.

Thanks guys. I'll most likely try a different tire and possibly viking coil overs for my next outing. I did a nice little burn out in the pits and it didn't seem to help much.

That's true. I always beat myself up after a mod lol. I'm sure with more seat time and some better tires I'll have that 11 sec slip

good job scotty! 116 is getting there but theres more potential there absolutley! If you dump the TTII wheels for even stock weight wheels and got a lighter clutch in there I see a 120 trap coming.

you're a vert as well so that weight isnt doing you any favors lol

My car traps 113-115 in the heat/high DA and 117-118 in low DA/good weather - DA affects a NA car a lot.

Thanks Dan! Money adds up quick. I'm kinda torn with what mod to do next. I want to spend roughly 1K this summer on the car. Sadly heads aren't going to happen this year for me. As of now I'm leaning towards Mickey Thompson ET Street R's and possibly 4:10s. That should be right around 800$. I was trapping right around 6100 give or take.

That's quite a difference! Last summer when I went 12.66 @ 111 the DA was 500.
