12.493@ 111.57 bolt on stock converter A4
how does everyone else compare, my car seems to be a little bit quicker than most with its mods.
basically have cold air, ls6 intake, headers, tune, 4.10s, a cutout, and some suspension(tq arm, panhard, relo brackets)...and some drag radials. i guess i want to give 95% of my thanks to Kieth Mccord's tuning - (he makes the mccord powerplates)
car dynoed at 335 hp and 339 tq before tune of ls6 intake and cutout
1.892
5.269
8.067@87.53
10.474

That's absolutely amazing for a stock converter. A Yank PT4000 will have you in the 11's for sure if you can maintain traction. It's hard to believe what that conveter did for my heavy car even vs a Yank PY3400. I'm running 7.81 @ 87.25 in the 1/8th @ 3700 pounds with probably less than 300 to the tires. With the extra power you have over me, I'm sure you'll run much better in the 1/8th than I did thereby insuring yourself an 11 second 1/4 mile timeslip. Are you planning on installing a converter any time soon? If so, look into the Yanks.

yes, i'm probably going to down grade to the 3.73's bc im hitting overdrive right before the finish line, atleast 30-40 ft i bet(hard to judge at that speed). then probably go with the tci 3500 bc i can get a deal on them with their flexplate. i hope that goin to the 3.73s keeps me at the 12.49 mark and then the converter does much more.

There are some freak cars out there. When I was driving a ford back in the day, there was this dude in Texas who had a 99 firbird mostly stock. he had a small cam and exaust (unless he was sandbagging) and would run low 8'sin the 1/8th............I was completely floored. Now that I have a full H/C car with bolt ons, I have ran a best of 8.3.

mods are minimal, got a ported TB, cutout, lid, and FTRA, and everything else is stock, here is the link identical to your times pretty much

not original owner but 99% sure it does not have a converter, everything was stock when i got it from the orginal owner, the only thing he did was get a K&N filter. It still had the screen in the maf, and factory intake. So i seriously doubt it, wouldn't you get a lid before a whole tc install. I will find out 100% when the yank gets here

I ran a 12.539 @ 112.13 with similar mods and street tires. I don't have an LS6 intake yet though... I do have lots of weight reduction. The car weighs 3310 without me in it.
Everyone locally keeps telling me that with a tire and a stall, I'd be in the 11's for sure. I'm planning on a TCI 4000 or Fuddle 3800 and some MT DR's (255/50/16) next year. We shall see what I can do.

FWIW, I weighed it with just the spare out, and it weighed 3660. This was on the local Farmer's Market scale, so it HAS to be accurate. I pay $5 and get a certified weight.
Future weight reduction: AC and condenser, Aftermarket Torque Converter, Lightweight K-Member, Both air-bags and bumper supports.

My car is a fully optioned T-Top car too and with only jack and spare removed and a half tank of gas came to 3300 without me in it. The only options I do not have are power passenger seat and disc changer.
