New Best Again!!! I'm loving this converter more and more. I have a vid also. Time slip results
R/T .021 No redlight
Best 60' 1.712
Best 1/8th 7.788
Best 1/8th MPH 87.81
Best 1/4 12.274
Best 1/4 MPH 109.37
Lauched at 3500 rpm car grabbed and went. Tried to stall at 3800 on the last run and the car locked me in 2nd gear again.
I'm getting sick of that, had a .003 R/T on that run too.
Really close to 1.6s, if I can get that, I see 12.0-12.1 in my future. Next runs will be at Atco (fast track).
Oh yeah and my race weight was 3505 with me in it with about 1/4 tank of gas. Took out the car cover and the autolock. Seats are still in the car
So to this date from last year with just the converter and nittos I've taken off a second from my best time of 13.2 at Atco.

and which conv did you go with. I'm thinking about the vig 3600

Hey Chris, most likely hit up Atco on one of the 2 last weekends that it's open. My tire pressure was still left at 30 in the rear and 35 up front. Sick *** launch, so close to the 1.6s. The converter is in my sig Yank's SS3800 2.55 STR

not exactly positive.... but it sucks though... my car is in some serious need of love, she's taken a beating in this past year, went from sunday driver, to drag strip *****, to road tripper, to bandit car(long story but an interesting one, ill save it for a rainy day) my car is just mad at me. plain and simple!

well bandit in the fact that i do things to take the attention away from a truck (passenger truck that is not a mac but thatd be cool to) thats doing something illegal ( not anything like transporting anything illegal , but once again thatd be cool to) , i just take off if i see a cop so they wonder what the hell im doing and leave the truck alone, im not gonna say what exactly we're up to , ive sold myslef out to much already...modern day bandit, i kinda like the way that sounds. i could get my car's name (vendetta) painted on the door right below the window, and i could get a jacket , oh that would freakin rock...okay getting a bit carried away,ill stop

Figured out why the tranny locked me into 2nd when I tried to launch it at around 3800-4000 rpm. Car did launch in 1st gear but slipped into 2nd at around 4500rpm. Seems like my tranny didn't like that high of a launch. Well at least I found out the limitation of the stock tranny. Looks like 3500 rpm will have to be the limit until a built tranny takes it's place.
