i am wanting to crack the 12's. i have a 2000 z28 M6. i am a good driver...i have ram air hood which does not do much, but k&n, lid, smooth bellow, morgan motorsport ported throttle body, ls6 intake, cut out, and a b&m ripper shifter. skinnies too. 275's out back. so do you think it is possible???

yea its possible..with DRs and a good 60'. alot of stock auto cars go high 12s with sticky tires.

i think my buddy is going to let me borrow his DR's so hopefully. this is the first time to go to the track with this car. so we will see what happens

i was not happy with my times. i ran 13.556 at 105.89 60' 2.151. well i was having problems with the clutch. it just means now i get a new clutch i am looking at a spec 4 or 5. what do yall know about the spec flywheels

SPEC makes good flywheels, but a 4-5 is way over kill IMO. A 4 is hardly streetable, and a 5 isn't at all.

I have a SPEC 3 with 450rwhp and it has held up fine, and that is with nitrous which is especially hard on clutches.

ok well i guess i will back down to the stage 3. i am doing heads and cam next week with full exhaust and nitrous. i am looking to be around 550-600 on the giggle juice!

I didn't realize you were doing that much, you will need a 4 to handle it reliably if you want to go with SPEC...but most people rather go for the Twin Disk setup for fully streetable 1000hp capable clutch.

first of all you will PROBABLY break your rear end if you launch with slicks. But you should be able to do better than that bone stock. with Slicks!!!

well i am not wanting to break my rearend as of now. so i am not going to launch extremely hard. this is my DD so i have to take care of it. a rearend will go in just not as of now. what kind of twin disk setup do you suggest???
