im in the 12s well went to the 1/4 mile track today. kinda up set with my passes i was hoping for 12.5 or better. But all i could get out of it was 12.98 at a 104.6.

this is what was on the car when i did this pass. LS6 intake, SLP sub-frame connectors, VIG 3200 stall, BMR LCA, BMR adj panhardbar, QA1 coil over suspension, JET Hot LT and ory. with a stock tune i know im running rich as hell but i still have my heads and cam to install before i spend the money on a tune cause i dont feel like paying for a tune twice. But i was wondering if this sounds about right.

do you know the DA and raceweight of your car? alot of things affect your time besides power and mods....your trap seems low honestly, but your tune could be way off and such, do you have times when it was stock??

i didnt have any 1/4 mile times but i was running 8.8 in the 1/8. weight was 3353 with out me in it and 3562 with me in it. no idea what the da was. but i know the tune is way off its running rich as hell.
ok so thats approximately +1500 so thats not too bad... If i were you i would seafoam your car LINK and then change all fluids, spark plugs, fuel filter. See how it runs. I would then probably get a tune depending if you plan to mod in the future.....

damn it just changed all my fluids yesterday. but when im up for a oil change i will do this. I do plan on getting a tune but i still need to install my heads and cam. i dont want ot pay for a dyno tune twice.

99WS-6T/A: Honestly I'm not sure what going on...Is it throwing any codes? you might wanna get it logged with some kind of tuning software if you can such as efi live or hptuners. Maybe a dyno to see how your AFR is and if there is any noticeable problems....beyond that maybe a leak down test or something. But honestly you have a fast street car, and as long as your content I wouldn't worry too much about it.

well went to the track again today and ran a 12.8 on my 3rd pass but on my 4th pass i either broke my pinion gear or my carrier. i guess i will find out tommorow when i open her up.
