Car made 359/361 tuned through catted Y-Pipe and catback (old setup) with a slipping clutch.

Weight:
3545 with me and 3/4 tank of gas

First Run:
This was my first time at the strip with the clutch and tires. Small burnout. Revved to *3200 slipped the clutch. Bogged. Short shifted every gear.

Resulting in:
.427
2.263
5.859
8.703
87.09
11.122
13.166
110.70

Second Pass:
Longer Burnout. Revved to 4000. Slipped clutch. Rode it too long. Bogged. Short shifted first, third, and fourth.

Resulting in:
.127
2.197
5.731
8.557
87.67
10.967
13.006
110.51

Third Pass:
Same burnout. Revved to *4000. Slipped clutch just right. Shifted decently. Powershifted the 3-4. Clutch didn't like it.

Resulting in:
.067
2.089
5.630
8.445
87.91
10.852
12.891
109.50

Fourth Pass:
Good burnout. Staged. Sent me back so they could clean the track. Back into the waterbox. Just spun the tires a little bit. Revved to *4000. Slipped clutch. Spun the tires. Then they grabbed hard. Shifted well every gear.

Resulting in:
.133
2.233
5.685
8.451
89.64
10.820
12.820
112.89

Fifth and Best Pass:
Nice sized burnout. Revved to 4500. Slipped clutch slightly. Tires grabbed hard. Speed shifted every gear.

Resulting in:
.646
2.079
5.525
8.290
89.71
10.656
12.655
112.93

I think I did alright considering I'm bolt-ons with an old tune for cats through a catback and stock gearing. I'm pretty confident with a less humid and cooler night I could drop the ET another .2-.3.

Yeah if you know how to drive with a M6 it is not hard to get low 12's out of a bolt on car only. Look I ran a 12.12 at 114MPH with a 1.73 60'. This is all that was done to the car then. Lid, K&N filter, Smooth boot, Ported & polished & epoxied Throttle body with the coolant bypass, NGK TR6 plugs, Kooks 17/8" LT's with ORY-Pipe, Borla catback, Ram twin disk clutch, McLeod Master cylinder, Ram slave cylinder, Pro 5.0 shifter, QA1 front shocks with springs, UMI LCA's, UMI torque arm, Bogart wheels with Hoosier DR's, front sway bar was removed, and a nice tune. I have a completely stock rear and 3.42 gears. That is just a bolt on car running very low 12's. Like I said with a good driver you can get it. Good job man and good luck with getting those times down!!! Maybe you might consider getting a new torque arm.

Thanks.

I'm pretty scared of popping the 10-Bolt. Not necessarily on the launch, but, on the 1-2 shift.

Ok well disregard that pm I sent you since both questions are answered here lol. Those are some nice runs bro. I ran mine recently but only ran twice, a 13.2 @ 108.5 w/ a 2.22 60' and a 13.3 @ 108.2 w/ a 2.22 60'. My crappy street tires hate cold weather, I have never spun so bad in my life, thats why I gave up after 2 runs... Oh well...
