Good choice! (only half joking)
I learned to drive in my dad's 77 impala wagon with the 305. I think 70's family sedans make cool rides.
This is my daily driver so the camaro can live in the garage. 318 cubic inches of badass. She'll tour the 1/4 just fast enough that the tow trucks won't com get me.
I seriously do like your barge, dude! What it gives up due to weight, it makes up for with grins!

Henry that’s one sweet ride. Personally I'd ditch the rally wheels and put the caps back on it, then i'd go buy a grand ma's wig and coat and drive around at night and find unknowing foe to embarrass in front of their friends with it.

Funny you should mention getting the stock hubcaps on them. I have been looking for some for a while and if I am able to get some I also would like to put on fake white walls on the tires as well (its night time most of the time I race anyways so it would be hard to tell that they were not real granny whitewalls).
There are some on Ebay but at like $50 for a complete set of for shipped to me, I am waiting until I make sure they fit on the rally wheel and also if I can find a set locally for half the price.

Henry, you're on KCSR, correct? I'm 90teggyGS on there, haha. I'm still looking for an LS1 car, and when I finally end up with one, I might come play in KC with you all.
That land yacht HAULS though. Nice job!

Thank you! Its always great to meet another person that doesn't mind a big ugly granny car as long as it has some giddy-up in its step.

Unfortunately not much is new with her, aside from a "Home Depot Special" cold air intake that was around $7.95. I haven't had a chance to take it to the track yet to see if sucking in the outside are is going to be better then sucking in the hot air coming off the radiator.
For now since gas is like $4 per gallon I let her rest mostly and just drive her on the weekends at night if the weather is nice and try to catch a race or two.
I think I may be able to improve on my 12.7 though if I ever make it to the track. I have gotten a lil better and driving her and now rumors have started that I am "spraying" since its impossible for a big Caprice to have a lil get up and go in its step.
