Default 156K mile LS1 new best: 12.17@110mph!

Well, my high mileage (156K miles) 99 Z28 continues to amaze me....got the best numbers yet out of it last Friday night at KCIR in Kansas City:

60ft- 1.609
330'- 4.892
1000'- 10.125
1/4- 12.171
MPH- 109.89


Here are the ONLY mods done to it thus far:

3.73 gears
LS6 intake
Hypertech Power Programmer III
Ported TB
descreened MAF
ASP underdrive pulley
Built 4L60E trans w/3500stall TCI/M&M converter, external trans cooler
Centerline Convo-Pro wheels (15x4 fronts, 15x9 rears w/ M/T DRs)
SLP lid w/K&N filter
FLP long-tube headers, off-road Y-pipe, and Hooker MaxFlow cat-back

Awsome bro a little better weather or maybe track conditions and your in the 11 second club. nice sixty foot time, that stall seems perfect for your set up. My stall is next.

Yeah, I lost 2mph going to this converter, but I'll gladly take that over staying in the 12.70-12.80 range every day of the week. I have a stock Z06 cam I'm thinking about putting in it to get my speed back.

Great times. There may be hope for mine then too. I have 143K, and do 12.5's pretty consistantly.

thats impressive. i always wish i lived at a lower elevation. i keep running a 13.80 @114. go figure. my 99 has 223k on the clock, so i know how good you feel about the times. congrats.

my m/t's are in the garage, hopefully I can walk all over my previous best of 12.41@110 that was done babying street tires

It's just a little more fun being quick in a high mileage, low cost beater

not that hard to believe...I cut a 1.7 w/ a m6 4.10s and stockish motor and it'll prolly go better than that

Yep, I did a 1.68 with no susp mods. And I had stock gears, no skinnies, no headers, no pulley, etc.
