Firebird Production Number, Color Breakouts, Options, Etc.....POST QUESTIONS HERE!
And thanks for putting it together so well for us.I dont know if my numbers are right but for 1998 WS6's I get:
1998 WS6 = 3086 total with 251 exports and 2835 US cars
-2693 Coupes
-2,449 Trans Am WS6 Coupes (150 Z49 exports, 26 CW7 exports)
-244 Formula WS6 Coupes (23 Z49 exports)*
*Includes 1998 Formula WS6 1LE = 15 total with 1 export
-393 Convertibles
-391 Trans Am WS6 Convertibles (52 Z49 exports)
-2 WS6 Formula Convertibles
NOTE that when I compared the totals in these breakdowns to other data sources, it appears that the CompNine database is missing some production units for the 2000 and 2002 model years. Therefore I added a "disclaimer" to the sheets for those 2 years. The '98, '99 and '01 look OK (i.e.: CompNine's database contains at least as many units as shown in partial breakdowns from the other sources I've been able to obtain over the years).
UPDATE 12/19/09: Here's all the LS1 Firebirds.........
EDIT 1/4/10: Posted updates further down.....

I'm working on the '94s and '93 next. I'm doing the '96s last since it appears that CompNine's database is a few units short of a full production run for that year.
EDIT: Posted updates further down.....

thank you so much for all of your effort and hard work compiling this info, I saved them all to my computer
RPO codes do change depending on year, 54U is "Collector Yellow" in 2002, but is a brighter "Sunfire Yellow" in '94. Also 71U is "Sunset Orange Metallic" in '00-'02, but was "Medium Patriot Red Metallic" in '94-'95. Also, Chevy and Pontiac may have different marketing names for the exact same color/RPO.
Thanks, Eric
Thanks, Eric
