Victor Jr or Super Victor in a F-body? Post up some pics installed Like the title says.. I wanna see pics of both EFI and carburated setups with the Victor Jr or Super Victor intake. This style intake from what I have read is becoming more and more popular as an alternative to a FAST which IMO is severely overpriced!
I am seriously considering doing this, but won't really be able to make a decision until I see the setup.. I have heard that if you stay EFI the best way to go is with a 4150 throttle body rather than a elbow but I just don't know how well it will fit under my stock WS6 Hood. I am not opposed to cutting, as long as when it's all said and done it still looks the same on the outside.

1. use the 4150 TB
2. use a cam suited for the short runner of the victor jr with a tight lsa (~110)

Forget the elbow. It has been proven in other posts that going from the elbow and 90mm TB to a 4150 4BBL is worth 50-60 rwhp.

. I'm not arguing, but what makes the 4150 with a carb hat better than a throttle body with an elbow.. either way you still are making a 90* turn.. I assume the 4150 TB straightens out the airflow just before it enters the intake??
I wish the loss of 50-60hp was true.My 427 with a 242 Cam would be over 600rwhp with a 4150 TB.
The hp gain was listed in the dyno section a few months ago. I don't know how much the carb hat restricts flow, it is pretty big on the inside with a 4" opening, but I do know that the elbows cram the airflow to the back of the plenum. Might not be a big difference if you don't have the cam for a single plane....
