OBX Headers (just recieved)
I decided to try the OBX headers that nobody has really written about on this site. They just showed up this morning. I bought these from ssaccessories for $331 shipped. It took 4-5 days to ship. The box arrived in "ok" condition. I opened it up to find that the headers were packaged decently, again nothing special, but they couldnt bounce around in the box at all.
The headers look pretty decent actually. I took a few pics and measurments. I can take more if anyone wants to see something up close or at a different angle. I measured the flange thickness. It turned out to be .375" thick (3/8"). They are indeed 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8" primaries. The collector is also 3.5" in diameter. There is a merge spike in the center of the collectors and its about 3" long (I'm not positive on the length due to the viewing angle). The spike is centered pretty well too. All of the welds look to be of decent quality and the oxygen sensor bungs are located on the top of the collector for the drivers side and facing out the right side on the passenger header.
Any questions...Just ask. These wont be installed for several months due to the weather, but I will do my best to make a detailed install update/how to.
sorry for the iphone pics

Where did you get them from? I thought they stopped making these. They are the sane as the eBay, jdmcenter etc aren't they? My motor is out so noes the time to do these. Can you pm me a link if they are non sponsor?
Thanks! They look nice!
Edit: may be a dumb question but how would you get the O2 in the drivers bung?

Over on the Corvette forum many folks have used these OBX headers and the fit is perfect. As good as any of the premium brands. I've got a set for my Vette and they look great and work like headers a supposed to. They're just a good deal and although a Chinese knockoff still great.
They have thick flanges, nice welds, polished 304 stainless and what else is there?

You can see that inside the primaries they sanded any of the weld that may have protruded into the unwanted areas. I was actually impressed that they took the time to make sure they were sending out a good product. Oh and they come with a lifetime warranty card and decent gaskets too

obx makes good stuff, there is alot of people that get those but that was before you could get stainless headers pretty cheap, if ya search there is a few older threads about them, we put them in a buddys car and they fit pretty good, had to grind the k member a lil more than i had to with my pacesetters but they worked out great
